Meet Melanie Wasson

Melanie Wasson, a passionate member of the Rogersville community who has been working here for over four years. As a Commercial Lender and Assistant Vice President at Citizens Bank of Rogersville, Melanie helps individuals and businesses with commercial, construction, and land loans, while her team offers a full range of financial services to the Rogersville and surrounding communities.

Melanie joined the Chamber Board with a heartfelt desire to get more involved in the local community. With a strong background in finance, she’s a resourceful and valuable contributor to the Chamber’s mission of fostering growth in Rogersville. She was also very involved with the Republic Chamber of Commerce with her previous bank and served as the annual Business Expo chair for several years.

Her dedication to service extends beyond the bank. Melanie recently completed four years with a local BNI chapter, where she served in several leadership roles, and a three-year term as bookkeeper for six Republic PTO organizations.

When it comes to hobbies, Melanie’s hands are full with her three kids, who keep her schedule packed and exciting. But here’s a fun fact: Melanie once lived completely off-grid for three years, relying on solar and wind power in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!
