Meet Laura Daugherty: Architect and Business Owner

Laura Daugherty, a proud Rogersville resident for over 25 years and a passionate advocate for small-town growth. Laura joined the Chamber Board to help foster connections among local business owners, believing that strong relationships are the foundation of thriving communities.

Laura is the owner of 5980 Design Studio, an architecture firm specializing in small commercial projects and custom residential designs. With over 20 years of experience, she’s designed everything from office buildings and churches to hotels and custom lake houses—and even a residential mausoleum!

Beyond her professional work, Laura stays involved in the community through the PTA and her church’s building committee. What she loves most about Rogersville is the small-town feel, where neighbors are friends, clients, and her kid’s educators.
